Holidays, Vacations

January 7, 2020 is Ghana’s Constitution Day holiday. Let’s take the Year of Return activities to a whole new level on this first-ever holiday in honour of Ghana’s republican constitution by visiting the iconic Cape Coast Castle, completing a tour, and abseiling off its ancient battlements to the beach at the ocean below. This abseil comes to also honour the 400-year memory of our ancestors and will be a testimony to the mental fortitude required to end enslavement in all its forms – physical, mental, and so forth.

Reporting time at the Accra Mall Police Post is 5.45AM and departure to Cape Coast is at 6AM sharp.

Adventure Costs: 400-GHS (includes return transport, food and refreshments, use of abseil equipment, guiding services, fees to the Castle and photography).

What to Pack: A small backpack, outdoor walking shoes or sandals, a hat or cap, sun cream, sun glasses and insect repellent.

Payments can be made to MTN MoMo Number 054-842-4903 which bears the name “BraveHearts Expeditions”. Call the same number for any questions or concerns.
