Community, Mountaineering, Weekend Tours

This is a special Pink October mountaineering adventure to the Avatime Highlands that is open only to women. The expedition takes on the 785-metre range of mountains to offer breast-screening and breast cancer awareness services freely to rural women in this breast cancer awareness month of October.

We’ll leave the Accra Mall at 5PM on Friday, October 25 and drive to our campsite on the Hohoe Plains for some 4 hours. In the morning of Saturday, October 26, we will take on the first leg of the plateau adventure to Dzogbefeme, where some 500+ women will be waiting. The night will be spent in tents in the beautiful mountain village.

On Sunday, we’ll take on the Amedzofe stretch of the Avatime Highlands and crown off the community mountaineering outreach with a visit to the beautiful Ote Falls of Amedzofe.

This expedition costs 199-GHS (heavily discounted by 400-GHS) and is a non-profit adventure. Participants are invited to bring along donation materials for women. Call or WhatsApp 054-842-4903 for more information.
